Big Zits
Get Rid of Big
Zits
What connection does the
brain have to the skin? A big one. In fact, this
connection is so astonishing, that it is no wonder big
zits come to be. Follow along now and learn why big zits
are common in people with high stress
levels.
It has recently been discovered that the skin actually shares
the same cells that the brain does. The skin in fact uses
similar neurotransmitters which open and close due to stress.
The more stressed a person becomes, the more sebum is produced
from the sebaceous
glands.
So if you are a high strung person and have big
zits on your face, one of the first things you should
be doing is to set aside some time throughout the week to chill
out. Relax once in a
while!
Our body needs to rest. We can't just go on day after day
without ever stopping to heal ourselves. Not only does stress
play an important role but so too does food. Diet is actually
one of the biggest contributors to acne
vulgaris.
Zits in general occur because the pores are blocked with guck,
dead skin, and pus. Ways to combat this include foods rich in
omega-3 fatty acids, high in fiber, and of course, snacks that
are full of vitamin A, E, and
C.
This doesn't mean you have to eat like a health freak though.
Just watch what kind of junk food you are taking in. Do you
drink a lot of soda, snack on chips, have cereals high in
sugar?
Instead of eating Lucky Charms, try eating a cereal with fiber
in it. Place some strawberries in the cereal along with a
chopped banana. The strawberries help to act as antioxidants
and will in turn, help your skin to rid itself of big
zits.
