Get Rid of Zits

Getting Rid of Zits

Everybody who has zits all have one goal in mind - to get rid of zits forever. In fact, that seems like the common goal for all growing teenagers in this day and age.

The sad reality is that zits not only affect teenagers going through puberty, but also grown adults. What is the connection between zits and our lives?

Is it the fast food we eat? Is it the daily stress we go through? The answer is yes and yes. If you want to know how to get rid of zits, follow these steps.

You first have to change the way you eat. As mentioned throughout this site, junk food has a major impact on zits. They will spread more and more with the rapid intake of all those chemicals in your favorite foods.

If you are a good eater with proper nutrition, we have to look at other areas of your life. Do you run around like a chicken all day? Take the kids to school, soccer practice, shopping, games, friend's house, etc..? Try and calm down for one night and relax, take a hot shower, and treat yourself.

As you can see, stress and diet are two of the main culprits when it comes to getting zits. However this won't help you much if you currently have them on your face and want to rid yourself of them.

Removal techniques will vary depending on who you ask but here is an informative guide on physically removing those nasty buggers.

One of the first rules when dealing with zits is to keep your fingers off. Fingers have bacteria all over them and when you try to squeeze a zit, that bacteria may get inside of it causing even more of them to appear weeks later.

Keep your face clean from all the guck and garb that collects on it. Oils, dead skin, and the like all collect with new sebum produced, clogging up your pores. Add to that the sweat from daily work and your body is in dire need of a cleansing.

While washing up though, don't overkill yourself, or your zits for that matter. To properly get rid of zits requires that you scrub, but not too hard so as to irritate the skin and inflame the acne.
