Popping Zits
Pop A Zit
Think twice about
popping zits. Popping zits can be
beneficial and yes it removes them from your face, but the
underlying consequence might be worse in the long
run.
What in the world does that mean? Well when you pop a zit, you
are forcefully breaking the clogged pore and the pus rushes
out, breaking the clogged area. The problem is, your normally
pop a zit with your hands and your fingers contain a lot of
bacteria on them.
Get some of that bacteria inside your wound, and your zits are
likely to spread even more. So make absolutely sure that when
you begin popping zits, that your hands and face are sterile.
Do this after you take a shower, rinse off your face, wash your
hands, etc...
Popping zits is in fact not even recommended believe it or not.
Many medical folks say to keep a hands-off approach and let
your body heal itself. Through the use of regular daily washing
and a healthy diet, your skin is going to get itself back to
normal.
Now you can make fun of the whole 'diet and acne' theme, but
truth of the matter is, diet plays a very important role in how
healthy we are. Japan was in fact acne free for centuries and
centuries because they ate foods that were high in omega-3
acids, they had lots of fish and seafood (fish oils), and they
had plenty of fiber in their
diet.
Food is what sustains our body to fight off disease. Acne is a
disease. You can't think of it as just one isolated pimple.
Your body need the nutrients to fight off clogged pores, and
give your skin a healthy new
look.
Speaking of skin, did you know that dead skin can cause your
zits to swell? You need to thoroughly brush off your skin each
day. As new sebum is produced within your body, it rises up
through your skin and then mixes with dead, dry skin. This
forms and hardens, leaving you with a big fat zit. So remember,
a healthy diet, good washing, careful popping, and lots of
water will take care of
you.
