Treating Blackheads
The Easy
Way
Treating blackheads is
something that most teenagers, including young adults
cringe about. Some people could care less but the majority
of folks wish they could have a nice clean face. Is acne
really
treatable?
Acne is most certainly treatable and in fact, you can cure up
your face a lot sooner than most people might think. There have
even been reports about astonishing results in as little as 3
days. Other folks have good success just by regular
washing.
Whatever your case may be, it is always best to regularly wash
your face each day. The reason behind this is quite simple.
Blackheads form as a result of dead skin mixing with sebum and
then being oxidized, thus turning black. By reducing the amount
of "guck" on your nose, face, or wherever it may be, will
reduce the chances of you gaining more
blackheads.
To remove the blackheads you currently have will require a bit
more work. If you haven't tried popping them already, you may
wish to try that soon. You must be careful when popping
blackheads though because you don't want to damage the skin
anymore than it already is. If it hurts when you are popping,
just stop.
Some people suggest to use the inside of a pen to help with the
popping. By removing the plastic inner tube, placing it over
the blackhead, twisting and pulling, it can remove them (at
least that's what some
say).
Other options include that of "surgery" although it doesn't
involve tearing your face apart as one might imagine. Acne
surgery is used for blackhead removal if the patient so wishes.
By removing blackheads that have deep-rooted themselves, you
are going one step further in the fight to rid
them.
The way blackheads are removed during acne surgery is through a
vacuum device or some sort of injection. Cortisone is often
used. Do these solutions
work?
Yes, but for a short while and recovery may last many months.
The solution suggested is to get on a healthy diet, as acne is
correlated with poor nutrition. You may also wish to look
into other products which are less expensive than medicine,
such as Acnezine.
